A Hole In The Landscape 

Cornwall once was the largest exporter of granite stone in the UK during the mid twentieth century. Now only a few quarries are still operational in the county because of the decline in demand for the resource. As a result, these extraction sites fell into disrepair. This series of work documents post industrial scars on the Cornish landscape, looking in depth at what effects de-industrialisation has had on the environment and how nature has reclaimed these sites
